How to Start with TraderInsight.pro

TraderInsight.pro is built to help you track and analyze all your stocks, forex, crypto, options and futures trades as well as all your transactions and dividends.

We built this for ourselves as we outgrew the existing tools and needed something powerful and customisable - think Notion+GoogleAnalytics+TradingView+Charting

Intro 🎉

Here are a few things to help you get started

Upload some data - Open the Import page and simply drag-n-drop one of your broker exports. If your broker is not yet supported you can reach out to us here or via email to (team@traderinsight.pro) - normally brokers are added within 24-48 hours.
Tag your Trades - Connect strategies to your trades, build reports for your strategies, setups and mistakes or ask our AI to suggest some cool reports for you
Share your trade with a friend or mentor - You can publish your trades to social media or privately with a friend to get feedback and share your journey

Context 🧠

TraderInsight.pro is powerful, like really powerful. Once you uploaded trades you can do things like create custom...

Tags 🏷️

create custom tag groups (a group can be e.g. strategies, mistakes, learnings, etc. - it's fully up to you); and then you can create custom tags for each group (e.g. momentum, breakout, risk-management, etc. for the strategies group)
you can then simply connect those tags to your trades in no time
this means you can (a) track all your strategies, mistakes for every single trade, and (b) create reports based on those tags to analyze what works and what doesn't

Filters 🎛️

every trade contains a lot of data and then there is data about each stock itself (e.g. industry, sector, etc.) and then there is the custom data you add (like strategies, learnings, etc.); we wanted to make it possible for you to drill into every detail you want to analyze so we created filters
a filter is e.g. side = "long" or complex ones where you filter for trades that followed a certain strategy within a certain time period and volume range (you can do all that and more)
once you've setup some filters you can build custom reports

Reports 📊

There are many reports 😅

For asset types (e.g. stocks, options, futures, etc.) there are 2 main categories

Performance reports - A performance report takes a filter and then contains tables, KPIs and charts (we have many pre-built ones and you can create your own as well). These are really cool and suitable for time ranges (e.g. show me profitG cumulative over the last 12 months against the prior 12 months), etc.
Comparison reports - Comparison reports are similar to performance reports but here you say "compare this filter against that filter" and then you get a report that shows you the difference between the two filters and how they stack up to another (e.g. compare this strategy against that strategy, how are my morning trades compared to my afternoon trades, etc. - you can go wild with this)

We then also have reports for

Tags & Tag-Groups - Every tag and tag-group has its own detailed analysis page where you can see all the micro and macro details you might need
Cash & Dividends - Here you can inspect into transaction patterns, changes and developments overtime

Notes 📝

Basically you've Notion and Evernote in your journal 😁

full markdown and rich-text support along with cool features like slash-commands, checklists, shortcuts, images, tables, etc.
you can write notes globally in your journal or directly attach them to specific trades (it's that easy)

Calendar 📅

on the homepage is a yearly overview where you see your profitability and trade volume over the entire year (the greener the day the more profit you made and vice versa for red)
on the dedicated /calendar page you have a more detailed overview and can drill down into specific months and days

Sharing 🌍

Journal sharing - you can invite other users to your journal with a view-only access right (they can then access all your trades, tags, notes, reports, etc.) and can give feedback to you (e.g. useful if you are part of a community or are a mentor/mentee - or bookie)
Trade sharing - you can privately invite other users to view your trades. You can also publish individual trades to the web and then share the URL with anyone
