1. Head to the Import Page
Log in to TraderInsight.pro and navigate to the Import page. This is your central hub for bringing in data from any source.
2. Drag & Drop or Select Your Export Files
Here you can:
- Drag and drop your broker or platform export files directly onto the screen, or
- Simply click to select them manually.
Supported formats include standard CSV/Excel exports from most brokers and platforms.
3. Let TraderInsight.pro Handle the Heavy Lifting
TraderInsight.pro takes over from there - it automatically processes the files and extracts:
- Your trades
- Dividends
- Cash transactions
- And everything else that matters
No further action required.
4. Review What Was Imported
Once processing is complete, click the small report icon next to your upload. You'll see a full, clear summary of exactly what was extracted - trades, dividends, cash movements, the works.
5. Missing Your Broker or Platform? Request It in Seconds
We support a large and growing list of brokers and platforms out of the box. If yours isn't covered yet:
- Click 'Request Broker'
- Submit the short form
Our team gets notified right away, adds support as fast as possible, and emails you the moment it's live.
6. Add Orders Manually - Anytime, Any Asset
You can always add orders manually through the top-right menu for every asset type. Perfect for quick entries, corrections, or trades not covered by exports.
7. Custom Import Templates
Every user can create a custom import template for non-standard or unsupported formats.
Here's how:
- Upload your CSV (just make sure it has a proper header row).
- Map your columns to the matching fields in TraderInsight.pro.
- Set the correct timestamp format to avoid any unexpected surprises.
- Finally, preview the results to confirm everything looks good… and save it.
From then on, reuse it anytime - just select your saved template and drop in new files. Lightning fast for bulk imports.
8. Where Your Data Lands
Once everything is imported, TraderInsight.pro automatically organizes your data in the sidebar:
- Stocks, Forex, and Crypto under the Stocks group
- Futures under Futures
- Options under Options
- Dividends under Dividends
- Cash transactions under the Cash group
Each section includes its own focused reports and analytics tailored to that asset class.
