When you trade stocks, options, forex, futures, or crypto, fees are always part of the equation - but they’re rarely simple. ECN fees, clearing fees, regulatory fees, miscellaneous charges… depending on your broker, a single order can quietly include multiple cost components.
Until now, TraderInsight.pro treated fees the same way most platforms do:
you had two generic fee fields, and when importing broker data, all individual fees were grouped and aggregated into one summarized “fee” value per order.
That worked - but it hid the details that actually matter.
What Changed?
We’ve upgraded our fee tracking system to preserve every original fee exactly as reported by your broker.
Instead of collapsing everything into one number, we now store and expose each individual fee component on the order level - fully transparent, fully auditable.
That means:
- ECN fees stay ECN fees
- Regulatory fees stay regulatory fees
- Clearing, misc, exchange, and other broker-specific charges remain separate
- Nothing gets lost or blended together anymore
Why This Matters (A Lot)
Different brokers structure their pricing very differently. Take CMEG as an example → a single order can include 4+ distinct fee types, each with its own logic and cost driver.
With this update, you can now:
- See exactly what you’re paying - and for what
- Understand which fees scale with size, liquidity, or routing
- Compare brokers on real cost, not just headline commissions
- Spot inefficiencies that were previously invisible
This is especially powerful for:
- High-frequency traders
- Scalpers and day traders
- Futures and options traders with complex fee structures
- Anyone optimizing execution and broker choice
More Insight, More Control
Fees directly impact your true P&L. By preserving every fee at the source and attaching it to each order, we give you a clearer picture of what’s happening behind the scenes - no assumptions, no averaging, no guesswork.
It’s a small-looking change with a huge impact on transparency.
As always, this works automatically when importing trades - no extra setup required.
More clarity. More insight. Better decisions.
