Say goodbye to spreadsheets
Elev8 trading journal for MT5, the broker formerly known as Octa: sync forex, stock, and crypto fills, then tell copied, EA, and manual trades apart in reports.
You can journal Elev8 trades automatically with TraderInsight.pro: connect your Elev8 MetaTrader 5 account and every fill syncs in seconds across forex, stocks, crypto, and more. Elev8 (formerly Octa) supports copy trading and Expert Advisors on MT5, which makes one question hard to answer from the terminal alone: did your own trading, a copied strategy, or a robot make the money?
Yes, because that is how you find out who actually made you money. Elev8 lets you copy trade, run Expert Advisors, and trade by hand, all on the same MT5 account.
Tag each source and TraderInsight.pro gives every one its own win rate, R:R, and P&L. You will know if the copy strategy is worth following, if the robot deserves more size, and if your own trading is the best of the three.
That knowledge changes how you trade. Without it, your money goes to whichever source feels good. With it, size goes to the source that earned it, and the one that did not gets switched off.
It also protects you from yourself. Starting a copy strategy or a robot is easy. Sticking with the right one through a bad week is hard, and a journal gives you facts to hold onto when the urge to change course hits.
Nothing to type in by hand. The trades arrive from MT5 on their own, so your journal is always current.
Every filled Elev8 order on your MT5 account syncs, including forex pairs, metals, stock CFDs, crypto CFDs, indices, commodities, futures CFDs where offered, and more. Cash events such as deposits, withdrawals, fees, and dividends sync too where your server reports them, and cash reporting keeps those costs next to your trade P&L.
Install the TraderInsight.pro connector service in the MetaTrader 5 terminal you use for Elev8, paste your API key, and fills sync in seconds with no file export. Use the MT5 login Elev8 issued for your MT5 account type. The connector only sees the terminal it runs in, so keep it in the terminal you actually trade from.
Screenshots and the macOS Wine shortcut are in the full MT5 import guide.
Tag each trade as copied or own, then run the comparison report. If the copied sample has a worse R:R or a deeper drawdown, you will see it in numbers instead of by feel.
Give every EA its own tag and compare it with discretionary trades in reports. A robot that only looked good in the Strategy Tester has to survive live fills here.
Filter to trades held past the daily close and compare their P&L with intraday trades. Filters and the calendar show whether free holding is turning small losses into big ones.
You can ask plain English questions and get answers drawn from your own Elev8 history. AI analysis handles prompts like "Do my copied Elev8 trades have a better win rate than my own trades?", "Which Expert Advisor has the lowest average R:R this month?", "How much do I lose on trades held overnight?".
Yes. The mobile app gives you the same Elev8 journal as desktop, so you can tag a copied trade or write a note on a bad EA day while it is still fresh.
Tell us and we will look at adding it. Request a broker or email team@traderinsight.pro, and we add formats ASAP.
Get your trading journal, connect MT5 once, and your Elev8 history builds itself while you trade.
TraderInsight.pro is built for Elev8 MT5 traders who want telling manual, copied, and EA trades apart. It syncs forex pairs, metals, stock CFDs, crypto CFDs, indices, commodities, futures CFDs where offered, and more, automatically, then adds reports, tags, and AI analysis that the MT5 history tab does not have.
Yes, through MetaTrader 5. Run the connector in the MT5 terminal where you trade Elev8 and filled trades sync to your journal in seconds. Setup is in the MT5 import guide.
You do not export or edit any file. Download the connector from Settings, Data Sources, allow WebRequest for https://app.traderinsight.pro in MT5, place the file in the MQL5 Services folder, and paste your API key. Past trades and events then sync in the background. Full steps are in the MT5 import guide.
Elev8 emerged from the Octa brand. For the journal it makes no difference: connect the MT5 account you use today and the connector syncs whatever history that account reports.
Yes. Copied trades are filled on your MT5 account like any other. Tag them as copied and use the comparison report to measure them against your own trades.
The live connector covers MetaTrader 5. If you trade Elev8 on another platform, request that broker or format.
Yes. The mobile app is the full journal on iOS and Android: every report, note, tag, calendar view, and AI answer from desktop.
Yes. Demo and live MT5 logins both sync, so paper traders get the same reports, calendar, and AI tools.
