Moomoo Gives You the Data to Trade. TraderInsight.pro Helps You Learn from It.
Published on · Updated on

Moomoo has built a loyal following among active traders, largely because of the depth of market data it makes accessible - level 2 quotes, institutional flow, earnings calendars, and more. Traders who chose moomoo chose it because they take their pre-trade analysis seriously.

The post-trade analysis is a different story. Moomoo's order history is functional but shallow: you can see what filled, when, and at what price. Connecting those fills to a broader understanding of which strategies are working, which time-of-day patterns hurt you, or whether your options trades outperform your equity positions - that requires something more.

TraderInsight.pro is the journal that closes that loop. Bring your moomoo history in, build a tagging structure that mirrors how you think about your trading, and let performance reports and AI analysis surface what your transaction list can't.

The Post-Trade Analysis Gap

Good pre-trade analysis and bad post-trade review is one of the most common patterns among active traders. You research before entering. You don't systematically debrief after closing. Over time, that means good intuition goes uncheckable - you can't prove what works, can't isolate what doesn't, and can't accelerate the learning curve that separates consistent traders from the rest.

A dedicated trading journal with comparison reports, a P&L calendar, and real filtering capabilities closes that loop. It doesn't matter whether you trade stocks, options, or crypto - the principle applies across all of them.

How to Export Your Trade History from Moomoo

The export function in moomoo lives inside the desktop application.

Step 1: Open the desktop app

Log into the moomoo desktop application on your computer and ensure your account is connected.

Step 2: Navigate to Trade → Orders → History

Click the Trade button in the left sidebar. In the Orders panel that opens, click the History tab at the top.

Step 3: Set your date range

Use the date selector at the top of the History view to choose the period you want to export.

Step 4: Export the file

Click the export icon in the top-right corner of the History table. On some versions of the desktop app, this may appear as three horizontal lines - click that icon and select Export from the options.

Your CSV file will download to your computer.

  2. Drag and drop your downloaded CSV.

Where to Start After Import

A few moves that make the biggest difference immediately:

  • Build a tag structure in TraderInsight.pro's tagging system that maps to the setups or conditions you actually trade. Even separating "planned" from "reactive" trades quickly generates useful data.
  • Open the comparison report to see which asset classes or strategy types are outperforming. For moomoo traders who mix stocks, options, and crypto, this view is often eye-opening.
  • Use AI chat to ask questions about your data in plain English - "Which stocks did I trade most profitably last quarter?" or "What's my win rate before noon versus after?" - and get instant answers backed by your actual history.
  • For traders building a track record for evaluation or mentorship, the sharing features let you share verified performance without compromising your account privacy.
