Plus500 is built around simplicity - a clean interface, tight spreads, and access to CFDs across stocks, crypto, and commodities. That simplicity works well for getting into and out of positions. It works less well when you want to step back and understand whether you're actually making progress as a trader.
Plus500's trade history is available inside the platform, but there's no way to tag trades by strategy, filter by setup type, or visualize your performance trends over months. If you've been trading Plus500 for a while and want to start turning your history into genuine self-knowledge, TraderInsight.pro is built for exactly that.
Import your Plus500 data and get access to performance reports, AI-powered analysis, and the kind of structured journaling that separates traders who improve systematically from those who rely on feel.
What You Can't Learn from the Plus500 Interface Alone
The platform shows you open positions, closed trade history, and account P&L. What it doesn't let you do is answer the questions that actually determine whether you have an edge:
- Which instruments or markets consistently produce positive results for you?
- Are you more profitable in trending conditions or ranging markets?
- How does your average loss compare to your average win, and is that ratio sustainable?
These are answerable questions - but only with the right tools. A dedicated trading journal with tagging, filtering, and reporting capabilities makes them answerable from your real historical data.
How to Export Your Trade History from Plus500
Step 1: Log into the Plus500 web platform
Go to plus500.com and sign into your account. The export function is most straightforward on the web platform or desktop app.
Step 2: Navigate to History
Look for the History or Trade History section - typically accessible via the main menu or your account dropdown.
Step 3: Filter by date
Set the date range you want to export using the start and end date selectors.
Step 4: Download as CSV
Click the Export or Download button - usually in the top-right corner of the trade history table - and save the CSV file.
Importing into TraderInsight.pro
- Go to the Import page.
- Drag and drop your exported CSV.
- Done.
Getting Started with Your Analysis
Once your data is in, a few useful starting points:
- Open the Calendar view to get a visual sense of your trading pattern over time - which days and weeks were profitable, and where the clusters of losses sit.
- Start tagging trades using the tagging system. Instrument categories, setup types, or even simple labels like "planned" vs. "reactive" will produce filterable data over time.
- Use AI chat to ask questions about your portfolio in plain English - "Which markets have I lost the most on?" or "What's my win rate on crypto vs. stocks?" - and get instant answers from your actual history.
- For traders who document ideas or want a proper post-trade log, trade notes tie directly to individual positions in your history.
